You can access your account online, on your smartphone or by phone. Our lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except for 25 December when lines are closed)*. So you can always:
- Check your balance
- See your statements
- Carry out transactions
- Contact us about your account
- Talk to a member of our Telephone Banking team any time of the day or night
- Make international payments up to £100,000 per day with Online Banking, in 2 maximum payments of £50,000
- Set up, amend or cancel standing orders for any amount using Telephone Banking
- Change your contact details
You can access your money through our mobile banking service, designed for smartphones and tablets. You need to be registered for Telephone and Online Banking to use this service.

Save time by exchanging messages and documents securely with us, through the online message centre.
SMS text services
If you register for our text message service, we can send you a text to validate new payments set up on your account. We can also text you a security code, so you can change your online banking log-in details.
Cut down on paper if you have a sterling account by choosing to get statements online rather than through the post. You can also download your statements using online banking. For accounts in other currencies, you’ll receive both online and paper statements.
