What is this and why is it useful?
Our SignVideo service helps Barclays customers* call any of our phone numbers and talk to us safely if you use British Sign Language (BSL). It connects you to an interpreter who can communicate your sign language to the adviser.
How do I use it?
You’ll need to download a plug-in the first time you use SignVideo to ensure the video quality is good enough and that the call is completely secure. After that, it’s just a question of accepting the terms and conditions and making the call to the relevant department.
How can I get it?
The SignVideo service is available from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). To use it, you’ll need a computer with a webcam, Microsoft Internet Explorer V7, 8 or 9 or Safari web browser and an internet bandwidth of at least 256kbp/s upload and download (although we recommend 384kbp/s for best quality).
