Barclays Cloud It is designed as a secure place to upload, store and manage your important documents. It allows you to access the files you want, whenever you need them, just by logging in.
Who can use Barclays Cloud It?
Barclays Cloud It is available to Barclays Wealth and Premier International customers.
Can I use Barclays Cloud It if I have third-party access in Online Banking?
Third party access is not possible with Barclays Cloud It.
Do I have to pay for Barclays Cloud It?
We won’t charge you to use Barclays Cloud It but if you’re using Barclays Mobile Banking, you may be charged by your service provider for accessing the internet on your mobile.
How do I upload a document to Barclays Cloud It?
Log in to Barclays Mobile Banking. Then, when you’re in Barclays Cloud It, select the ‘Add’ icon in the menu bar. Browse to find the document on your device and enter a document name for your file that you’ll use to identify it within your cloud. The next step is to add some tags, which will help you find the document quickly if required. You can create and add up to 8 tags on each of your personal documents.
How do tags work in Barclays Cloud It?
Tags help you keep documents organised so they’re easy to find when you need them. You can create and add up to 8 tags to each of your personal documents. Then you can click a tag to see all documents you’ve attached it to. You can also choose one of the following 4 categories for documents to help keep them organised:
How do I add tags or alerts to my documents in Barclays Cloud It?
Once you’ve saved your document in Cloud It, find your document and edit details. Within edit details you can add an alert, tag it or delete it.
How do I find a document in Barclays Cloud It?
In Barclays Mobile Banking, you can either manually search through the list of documents by scrolling on the main screen or use the ‘Find’ button to search for your document
I uploaded a Word document to Barclays Cloud It but when I view it I see a pdf.
We still have your Word document stored. If you download it, you’ll receive it in the same format you uploaded. We use a standard viewer to allow you to easily view your document on screen.
Will I be charged for text alerts sent from Barclays Cloud It?
No, all Barclays Cloud It text alerts are free. However, your service provider may charge you for receiving texts when you’re abroad.
Can I send an alert to more than one person in Barclays Cloud It?
No, you can only send an alert to yourself using the contact details that you registered with Online Banking.
What if I leave Barclays and have my documents in Barclays Cloud It?
You won’t be able to use Barclays Cloud It if you leave Barclays. If you’re planning to leave, download all your files first. You can download a document by clicking on the download icon on the ‘View’ page, in the Online Banking version of Cloud It.
Can I disable Barclays Cloud It?
Barclays Cloud It is an integral part of the Online Banking service that can’t be disabled. You can remove the link to it from your Online Banking homepage by selecting the ‘X’ in the top right-hand corner of the module.
What is my ‘Document stream’ in Barclays Cloud It?
Your ‘Document stream’ is an easy way of keeping track of all your activity within Barclays Cloud It over time. The stream will show all of the documents that you’ve uploaded in chronological order. You can scroll through the stream manually or jump to a particular month using the navigation links on the right-hand side of the stream. You can also see the alerts you’ve set up on your documents and some prompts we’ve set up to remind you of the important documents you can upload to the security of your Barclays cloud.
How long can I store documents in Barclays Cloud It?
You can store documents with Barclays Cloud It as long as you are a Barclays customer. You’ll no longer be able to use Barclays Cloud It if you leave Barclays or Online Banking. If you’re planning to leave, ensure you’ve downloaded all your files first. You can download a document to your PC by clicking on the download icon under the ‘Document actions’ header when viewing a document.
