As a client of Barclays, investor and/or prospective investor, your privacy is important to us. As evidence of our strong commitment to protecting the privacy of your personal information, Barclays has implemented privacy policies consistent with federal guidelines for financial institutions. We also have adopted policies and procedures designed to help ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal information.

Collection of Personal Information
In order to help Barclays better meet your financial needs and provide a high level of service with respect to the many products and financial services Barclays offers, we may collect certain personal information from you or others. This information may be collected when you open an account, seek advice about your investments, buy or sell securities, or if you otherwise tell us about your desired or actual investments. The type of personal information Barclays collects and may share will depend on the products and/or services you have used with us. This information may include your social security number, information about your personal assets and investment profile, specific transactional details such as wire transfer instructions and other account details, and information from a consumer reporting agency, such as your credit bureau report and credit score.
Protection of Personal Information
Barclays will take measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. In particular Barclays uses security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include certain computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.
How Barclays May Disclose Your Personal Information to Affiliates
Affiliates are companies, or other entities, related by common ownership or control. Barclays affiliates include financial companies that share the Barclays name such as banks, mutual fund companies, securities brokers and investment advisors. Barclays may share any of your personal information we collect, as described above, with affiliates for various business purposes including, but not limited to, our everyday activities such as to process your transactions, maintain your account(s), or to respond to court orders and legal investigations. We also may use this information to market our products and services to you; however, we do not share your personal information for our affiliates to market to you unless you have consented to us doing so. Barclays does not share personal information about your creditworthiness.
How Barclays May Disclose Your Personal Information to Non-affiliates
Non-affiliates are companies, or other entities, not related to Barclays by common ownership or control. They can be financial or non-financial companies. We do not share your personal information to non-affiliates for their own marketing purposes. See also "Other Disclosures" for more information.
Barclays may disclose any of your personal information we collect, as described in this notice, with companies that perform certain administrative services on our behalf, such as vendors that provide transaction processing and printing services. When we disclose information in this manner, Barclays contractually requires our service provider to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information.
Barclays also may disclose any of your personal information we collect, as described in this notice, to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. A joint marketing agreement is a formal agreement between non-affiliated financial institutions that jointly market financial products or services to you. Our joint marketing partners include financial institutions such as mutual fund companies, securities brokers and investment advisors. When we disclose information in this manner, Barclays contractually requires joint marketing partners to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information.
Barclays may also disclose any of your personal information we collect, as described in this notice, with non-affiliated third parties, for everyday business purposes such as to process transactions, maintain your account(s), to verify your identity and tax residence to comply with regulatory obligations, respond to court orders and legal investigations, or report to credit bureaus. In addition, Barclays may disclose your personal information with non-affiliated third parties with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law.
